I've got an SB-600 and use Lithiums... I can get 5fps cycle time on mine, but I can't quote off hand the flash power I was at. I've had new batteries since Christmas and it's still able to do 5fps. As a general rule, I use Lithium in everything I own. Yeah, they're not rechargeable... but they perform so well that it just might be more convenient to buy new batteries every few months. However, I do recognize that this isn't so environmentally friendly.
