Nice shot. Is it stitched together with multiple exposures?

There's a couple of things I'd try:

Crop off the left to get those few straggly branches out. The one hanging above the mountain line in particular stands out.

And maybe play with the levels a little bit to bring back some of the colour. Looks like the sun was pretty high? At that time of day it's very easy to get that slightly hazy, washed out look.

Speaking of time of day, I'd love to see the same shot early in the morning or late in the afternoon. What colours could come up in that red rock? If you don't remember where it was exactly though, I'm guessing you were touring and this location isn't just around the corner from home.
