My brother was taking the local tiger moth up for a flight on Christmas day so I tagged along and got a few shots. Very few of the ones I took in the air were usable, not even IS can stabilise those bumps :lol:

This particular Tiger Moth, ZK-BAL (aka SNAFU) was built in 1940 and was used as a WWII trainer at Hatfield, London and was moved to Gisborne, New Zealand in 1952 where it is still is now. It is currently run by the Gisborne Aviation Preservation Society.

Photo 1 published in todays NZ Herald :D . Its come out a lot more yellow in newsprint though :(
