A bit over-saturated for my liking. Is it HDR too?

I like the composition though. This is a landscape which I think could benefit from a human element on the bridge. A young or old couple, a single old man, a kid running across with a dog etc.

Thanks, all. HDR is a great technique. It can be used to gain more dynamic range to help with exposures and realism or it can be used for the "WOW" factor. I mostly use it for the latter.... hence the saturated colors. Lots of people don't like it but they don't seem to get it. They think it should be used for "realism" ONLY and if it doesn't look real, it's not a photograph. It's still an image regardless. I have found that almost everyone who isn't a photographer likes HDR and the way it pops. It's simply just another style of photography and can be a lot of fun. Anyway, thanks for the compliments! Here's a few more of my HDR images. Sorry for the large sizes. I already had the links from prior uploads and it was easier to just post them instead of resizing.

I do appreciate hdr and i have to say the picture of the stadium and the bridge does it for me. Yes there are quite a few people out there who want a picture to look like a picture. We have to move on and this is one path i do like. The tonal range is great and i for one like it.

I'm one of those who generally don't like HDR photos. Not because I don't like images that utilize HDR technique per se, but because so many images are pushed beyond "suspension of disbelief".

It's a question of thresholds for me. For example: http://www.cambridgeincolour.com/cambridge-gallery.htm has some of the best HDR images I've ever seen. These do not, upon closer inspection, seem 100% real as light and shadow doesn't look like that to the naked eye - however, they are beautiful nonetheless.

However, it's just matter of taste - not because I think it's "wrong" from any philosophical sense of "purity".

Dubaiphil has some very tasteful shots from..where else...Dubai...where he utililized HDR.

If you haven't seen it already, check out OLONEO.COM for a very interesting new piece of HDR software. Also http://unifiedcolor.com/products-home has a really good bid for HDR handling.

In your series, I particularly like the stadium-shot. In that shot you've tempered it to my person liking and the splotchy sky is not distracting.
