Hi Everyone. I've been reading this site for a while, but just bought a Panasonic GH2 and was so excited I had to join. I heard Canada got some of the first shipments, so I didn't want to let the opportunity pass by. Too bad it's too bloody cold for a wimp like me to go out and shoot. (-20C)

Greg

Hello Greg, and a warm welcome from a fellow Canuck!

It's -10 centigrade here in Winnipeg, but be January I expect -45 and a heck of a lot of snow!

See you around the forums!

Welcome Greg to the Camera Labs forum! People here in Holland already start complaining when it's -2° C, guess they should go on a vacation to Canada to find out what really cold temperatures are like!

Canada being such a big place, there are temperature variations across the board throughout the country in the same day. For example, over the past week here in Newfoundland the average temperature was 7 deg! Doesn't make good weather for taking photos. Not cold enough to have snow, but late enough in the year for all the foliage to be dead!

Welcome to Camera Labs!
