Morning everyone, the name's Alan, I'm 25 and from Northern Ireland.

Picked up a second hand Canon EOS 1000d off of a friend about a month ago as I had always wanted a DSLR and to learn the 'Art.'

Stumbled across this site via Gordons' Youtube reviews, the tutorials are great.

Heading to Dublin this weekend for a car festival and hopefully be able to crack out the DSLR for the first proper time. Only been learning the ropes at home with what I can find about the house.

Thanks for looking, I'm off around the forums to 'ave a lookie!
