Ok now, that's right, correct and working.
Now try to find out the link to a Flickr photo page (those are the ones with http://www.flickr.com/photos/23188996@N04/some_number/)
and show a pic with the [img]http://farm3.static.flickr.com/......jpg[/img] tags.
Have fun!
I'll go to bed now...

Alright. Let's try with the photo on this page:

http://www.flickr.com/photos/23188996@N04/2219706920/

As stated earlier, we can't use that link as it is. We'll need to find out a link that ends with ".jpg".

You will notice a little magnifying glass above the photo. Clicking on it will lead us to:

http://www.flickr.com/photo_zoom.gne?id ... 920&size=l

This one is a bit bigger than what should be used on this forum, so let's check how the medium sized version looks like:

http://www.flickr.com/photo_zoom.gne?id ... 920&size=m

That's more like it.

Now, to make the photo appear here...

As Thomas said, below the photo, you should see someting like "Grab the photo's URL". Copy the URL that is shown in there.

Now, paste it on you post. It should look like:

http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2052/221 ... 7fae08.jpg

We're almost there...

Add the "[img]" tags as shown below:

[img]http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2052/2219706920_d2667fae08.jpg[/img]

Your image should now appear.

http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2052/221 ... 7fae08.jpg
Ok I think I understand but do you guys have to view it first before it comes up automaticly? or? sorry about draging subject out for so long

-----Edited by Thomas------
1. I moved the necessary iImg-tags to the front of that third URL here.
2. I corrected the ".jps" to ".jpg" at the end of the second url. If you incluse this URL with Img-tags like I did on the next line it would be perfect:

You need to put "[img]"%20first%20then%20the%20address%20then%20"[/img]" at the end.
If you put your "mouse/pointer" on the "Img" tab It will give you a example.

I had this problem too. THANKS BOB 8)

Also if you hit the "Preview" tab it will show you what you post as a "post"
and if it works then you can submit.

I found that opening a post that was edited for you in one window and starting a new post in another you should be able to find what/where you are doing wrong, and using your "edited" post as a templet.

If I post a photo I always "Preview" it first just to make sure it is working right.

Hope this helps
Nick

With only a small correction your last post worked.
I did it for you.
Best way to achieve this is to mark the URL first with the mouse and then click on the "Img"-button. The editor will automatically include the URL in the Img-tabs.

Moderators, CameraLabs provides a versitile and easy to use forum, however, I've noticed almost everyone struggle with the BBC code when posting images. Perhaps CameraLabs sould consider another system for the future (eg. HTML).

In my opinion, BBC is simpler than HTML. It's designed to be user-friendly. More details here.

Besides, I've yet to see anyone asking for a little help and not getting it.

If you need any further help posting e.g. in the assignments-section just try the best that you can and put all the right links in, I'll look after it to see if you need help to make it perfect!

This link doesn't work as an embedded image, so I enclosed it in the url-tag...
You need some URL ending on .jpg to incluse it in img-tags
And by the way: this pic is much too large to embed it at CameraLabs. Please restrict embedded pics to max 700 pix width.
You may link though to images(through the url-tags that are as large as you like...
