Many thanks for trying to help but if it takes all that, I will not be able to submit my work as I don,t understand the answer Thomas gave, what part of all that typing is supposed to be put in ? For me this Rocket science and very confuseing.

EDIT: Added by Bob Andersson to allow you to see how adding an image can be done. Click your Edit button to see the text.

1/ Simple Image

Image

2/ Image with hyperlink

Image

Note that the image must be stored somewhere on the Net (Flickr, ImageShack etc) - it can't be stored on the CameraLabs server! Hope this helps.

Bob.

Hi rsunsets,

I've taken the liberty of adding a few lines to your previous post. Click the Edit button in that post to see how it is done. The [img]..[/img] and [url=..][img]..[/img][/url] bits are all described in the BBCode help page which has a link to the left of the edit box when you are writing a post (or click here).

Bob.

Ok, let's go step by step.

First of all, you should upload your photo to a hosting service of your choice. I use Flickr, and one of my pictures can be seen on the following page:

http://www.flickr.com/photos/luis_pt/1603704203

That's called a URL (the "http://www...").

Note that the URL is not of the photo itself (it doesn't end with ".jpg"), so we'll need to use this instead:

http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2021/160 ... 1591f4.jpg

Now, how do I make that photo appear here?

I wrap some tags around the URL, like this:

Code:
[img]http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2021/1603704203_aa291591f4.jpg[/img]

Notice the "[img]...[/img]" tags. That's what will make the photo appear.

So now we can see it like this:

Image

Try this with one of your photos, and then we'll try to add a link to it (so that others can click on it and see the original).

I hope this helps. :)

Please copy and paste the URL of the page that is hosting your photo and we'll continue from there.

I've edited your post above so you can see how it works (just edit your own post!).
For all others I show a copy of the code here with BBCode disabled:

Addendum:
How do you get that "http://farm3.static.flickr.com/..." address for the pic?
At Flickr you have to go to "all sizes", select the appropriate size of the image (e.g. "medium") and then copy the url that Flickr offers under "2. Grab the photo's URL:".
Do not use the code under option "1. Copy and paste this HTML into your webpage:" :!: That code doesn't work on this forum

Hmmm, that didn't work either!
If you click on "You" at Flickr, just copy the address directly without any tags into your post here!
Just like http://www.flickr.com/photos/38912116@N00/
That should work fine, and we should be able to at least find your account and can work from there...
