The second one works for me. The first is badly framed and looks soft but the second one looks good enough to eat. :wink: :roll: :lol:

I agree with Bob on liking the second shot, my only other observation would be that there is no sense of scale so you cannot judge what size the cake is. Maybe a knife or similar item that you can roughly know the size of in the shot would help with this.

Maybe try and use a different color background as it will make the white cake stand out more.
