Hello, could use advice
I would really appreciate some tips and comments.
Indoor hockey photography is so difficult (it's a dark place, and distance makes it harder). I was shooting son's hockey practice using my 70/300 sigma lens, and the big flash. I really don't know how to get better photos.
i was standing about 50 meters from the shot... I wonder if I need more light (better flash) and to lower my iso (400).
The original photo is much darker, I had to use PSe (saturation, contrast, exposure).

Focal length 210mm
center weight
S priority mode
iso 400

I tried different white balance, diffretn iso
 I'm really upset with the result

I found a tut on U2B:

I'll try it out next week end.

I was really surprised about the 1600 iso setting....

I am very far from a pro but have been doing a lot of experimenting myself in similiar conditions for figure skating. The 1600 iso will help but you have to have the right camera. I used a Sony A350 for a year and now have a Nikon D5000 and Sony would go to about 800 and now 1200 but above that get some noise. If you can use a flash it does help a lot but I shoot burst and take the best shot so do not myself. The highest iso and lowest f stop is best and best yet if you can afford a fixed f2.8 lens or faster. Hope it helps
