Hi guys,
I am really excited about this lens. back to the future of the Leica M days. The built quality is superb, the focusing ring is superb, and it focuses from infinity down to 1:3.9! yeah, not a big deal but for video it is a big deal. I love it. nice clip with your new lens....held in ambient sodium-vapor orange all the way And Kraftwerk..lol..now there's a walk down the memory lane of electronic music! Nicely done, as always.

This lens "snuck up" on me..somehow missed it completely. A very interesting offering with a much more usable 25mm focal length, than the Noktor 50mm (also for the micro 4.3 mount)

The shorter focal length offers a wider DOF @ F0.95.

In fact, there are two alternate offerings from Voitglander: 50/1.1 and 35/1.2 in M-mounts in the $1000 range.

Would you venture a guess as to why why we are seeing two F0.95 offerings in this mount in the $800-1200 range, while there is nothing at all for the Canon or Nikon mounts?

Nikon stuff and other stuff, but not nearly as much stuff as I really want!

haha, yup, thanks lahlahsr. I almost got the 50mm a couple month back but two friends suggested to stay away, supposedly not good wide open.
I guess Nikon and Canon are content w the 1.2/50mm, esp the Nikon is interesting, around 700bucks I believe and manual focus only.
