I've been a bit frustrated by my ebay triggers lately, it's not that they don't work, they do! But i hate the fact that they misfire here and there and i seem to experience a short circuit sometimes making the flash pop randomly.

I want something not as expensive as a pocket wizard but still more reliable, so what is the next step?

Haven't tried them myself, but the mid-range recommended triggers are usually Elinchrom Skyports, Paul C. Buff's cybersyncs and JRX Radio-poppers. There's also the phottix atlas, which is basically a pocket wizard plus II for half the price

Anel-slo, I don't know which trigger you are using, but I've actually found the Yongnuo RF-602 triggers to be more reliable with my Canon flashes than my Pocket Wizards! (The PW are subject to more radio interference). The RF-602 is now my "cheap trigger" of choice and never misfires for me.

I highly recommend the Paul Bluff Cybersyncs.

Great customer service from this company, which is something you should consider with any purchase really.

RF interference isn't too big of a deal with the amount of channels available on these receivers. Great price point as well.
