They've been talking about this for years haven't they? I can't even remember when they first announced they were working on it. I guess the worst part is looking at that image, the first thing I think is the body colour is wrong!

What is wrong with the body colour, it matches my macbook pro perfectly.

I think the fact that is was unnatainable for so long, and still is because of the price, adds to its allure.

The "black" keys with light body is far too contrasty for my tastes. All white, or all black would be fine. Then again, if the keys are reprogrammable then black text on light background might look better. But it would glow a lot in the dark!

Wow..that is one expensive keyboard..lol.

Then again, it does have a function - as opposed to other expensive things like..I dunno..jewelry or things like that, which may cost a pretty penny too.

Still, I'm perfectly happy with my lit Saitek Eclipse keyboard and I could get something even more useful for 1500 pound sterling!

Fun idea through..I'm sure we will see more keyboards over the next decade, with this kind of technology.

Virtual keyboards still haven't fixed tactile feedback. I'm sure you'd get used to it.

My preference - light airy keys - which this keyboard certainly doesn't have. I type and game faster on this £5-10 cheapo no brand plastic keyboard than I do on a £60 gaming one.
