@AL
By the looks of it, I suspect Fallenembers (EDIT: MistyCreekPhoto) will be spending time as a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. These guys serve for two years full-time, paying their own way, proselyting, teaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ, giving community service, and other activities.
I think the only internet access he'll have will be a weekly visit to a public library to send a couple emails to close family members, sharing with them his neat experiences.
Reason why I think that's Fallenember's story is because I did so myself. From early 2006 to early 2008 I was in Tucson, AZ, Las Cruces, NM, and El Paso, TX, doing the same thing. Limited internet? Yes, but your too busy to think about that anyway. Gained experiences that I wouldn't have otherwise gotten? You bet.

@Fallenembers
I hope all goes well. I trust the people there will feel the love you have for them.

Hats off to Fallenembers for making this sacrifice. We look forward to hearing from you in two year's time.

@BDS

@MistyCreekPhoto

Thanks for your submissions but have you started to wonder why each is so much bigger than all the others? Strictly speaking, given that they contravene this month's rules, they shouldn't even make it into the poll and I'm sure you wouldn't want to try and gain an unfair advantage. :evil:

Bob.

Edit: @Vissie Thanks for resizing your submission into compliance - Good Luck. 8)

:lol: Well Bob, your submission certainly threw me. As I gazed at it, I thought I was experiencing vision fatigue. So came back this morning and realized your water actually IS in motion. How amazing!

Thanks for that. 8)

I'm still not convinced it's art :evil: but as nobody has complained that it's outside the rules (yet, but please don't hesitate to do so if you think it is: even super-beings like forum Moderators can get it wrong :P ) I won't ask Gordon to leave it off the poll. Probably won't matter either way as there are some very strong contenders this month.

Bob.

And that's my last minute entry in again. Not my 1st choice but as is often the way I'm just not finding the time to play with other ideas.

Regarding the month's rules, I did specifically say I'd leave PP open and Bob certainly made use of that.

Good grief - I got a vote: wasn't expecting that from my experimental entry. Thank you, whoever you are!

Bob.

P.S. No, it wasn't me - I haven't voted yet. :P :lol: :lol: :lol:

@Bob Andersson

Truly sorry for the inconvenience .... I guess I dropped in the wrong medium sized flickr link :cry:

I'll be shure to double check next time.

Didn't mean to get an advantage and offend.

Sorry again
