Hey guys,

Im Ben and in 16. I'm currently in Year 12 at school and studying ICT, Product Design and Photography. I ordered a Sony A290 on Sunday from Amazon and I'm hoping for delivery tomorrow. I've not done much photography before but I started about 6 weeks ago in school and I'm really enjoying It. I enjoy playing Xbox, watching Arsenal (any football really), playing golf and every type of motorsport and every cars (except NASCAR *YAWN*).

As I'm relatively new to photography so I'm looking for helpful tips you can give me any what the first things are to do with my new camera.

Thanks, Ben :D

Welcome Ben to the Camera Labs forum! I know what it's like waiting for a camera to arrive, I'm awaiting one as well! Be sure to participate in our On Assignment once you've taken a couple of shots with the A290, it'll be fun!
