@fallenembers08

I notice you've seen black bears and wolves in the past... sounds like an ideal subject there. Do you think one will let you get up close for a really nice portrait? :D

Question for Popo, does a camera malfunction count as a valid entry, I was testing out +/- EV settings on surfers with most of the apertures around f10-11. I shot 14 frames shutter priority all at the same speed and one came out with f22 which made the sky black. The surfer in the shot only had slightly dark skin . Night surfing is not normal since it was taken at 2pm in bright sun.

Cheers

@popo

Well the bear and the wolf were in Wyoming and Montana... I won't be able to get back up there before I leave... I will capture a few more autumn photographs but thats about it.

Hopefully I will find something useful. Besides even if i won for october I woudnt be able to decide for Novembers month because I wont be able to.

anyway cheers

@4xxxx, as said before I don't want to end up deciding what's "in" or "out" in every case! I'll leave the original description as is and it will be up to voters at the end to decide if that is met.

Thanks Popo, since it was not my intent to capture this shot I'll post it in the Photo of the Day section.

Cheers

EvanK,
I think the best thing to do is wait until you have it developed then decide which to post instead of having to change if that's even allowed. I usually shoot as I normally would for a month then look through what I have for an appropriate submission. :wink:

@AL

Thank you! I appreciate the compliment.

Interesting to see how an olive can have so many shades of black -- y'know.

Thanks...

If by some miracle I win THIS months submission. I choose Gordon to choose the next months for me, since I will not be here in November.
