just recently went apple-picking and was more distracted by this moth flying about. when it finally landed, it took me a bit to find it!
it was a bit temperamental, so even getting close was difficult -- otherwise, i would've removed the leaf from the foreground. but i was pleased with the result, having only a few minutes to shoot. in retrospect, i don't mind the out of focus leaf in the foreground, as it hides the elusive little bugger even more.
any advice? i'm using a rather elementary camera despite the fact that i do have access to manual and av/tv modes.
