Well,I was on flickr the other days and stumble upon this pictures and they're really great.

I mean, there´s like a black and white feeling style on the pictures but i just don't understand how can its be done?

any idea?hue?saturation?layers?

I'm pretty sure it's called sepia. If you're using photoshop, desaturate the image, add some contrast, and create a new layer which is orange-ish and play with the opacity, and blending options.

Sepia is the color. In earlier film days was very common, the pigment was added during developing prints. I'm sure that there are many ready made options in photoshop or some plug ins that simulate it. Some cameras have the options to aply it at shoot time.
