I almost returned the lens after a week of use, I really like the results, but the mis-focusing issue is very annoying, have to stop down to f2 to get reliable af results. (taking pictures)
changed my mind after shooting this short video, the result is stunning inho
let me know what you think, everything wide open, with ND vari filter.

well I agree,at F/1.2 it is too soft & has a too shallow DoF for a good handling. the results look great,there's so much you can do with a low F lens in terms of movies

Looks amazing, love how you used the shallow dof! :shock:
Was some of that lens flare fake? Got a tiny J.J Abrams feeling :p

The music however, this is not an action filled Hollywood trailer. It sounds great don't get me wrong, just miss placed.

Yeah, using those wide apertures is hard for focusing. Specially is your subject is moving constantly, like on your video.

The result is great though!
