Hello, I just got my first DSLR a Rebel T2I and this is my attempt at macro. I would love to get some advise.

I had the camera sitting on a sock filled with rice, some of the sock must have been to far forward.

Looks nice, the last one seemed to have a lot of light on the flower tips.

#1 Blade of grass on top is distracting, composition is good, but not sharp.

#2 Not bad, little to much going on.

#3 Blurry


Good work so far for your first time.
