Having become a Leica aficionado, I wanted to share the product details, spec sheets and brochure links of Leica's new cameras. Though there's no radically new models, or indeed very surprising models, announced at PMA just yet, they're certainly cameras that deserve a little of our attention. So, off we go:
Leica M9 "Titanium"
A rather expensive, but, IMO, very beautiful new rangefinder. Only 500 will be made, which explains the pricetag.
The M9 "Titanium" comes supplied with a couple of extra accessories and a storybook, of which you'll find an extract here:
We've known this mini-M for a while, but it's now available in black, which, I have to say, looks even better than the steel grey X1.
Leica D-Lux 5
Anticipated by many. Certainly a nice little P&S to carry around daily, takes quite a range of accessories, and it carries the red dot. In the end though, it's basically a much more expensive Panasonic LX5.
Leica V-Lux 2
A second Leica-badged Panasonic, this time it's the FZ100. A superzoom, at the price of a decent DSLR.
