Hey, I decided to rename this thread and make it my personal still life photography thread, so I don't have to make a new thread for every single photo I made. Very much like my portraits thread. So, here goes - the original starter of this thread, my old soviet SLR, but re-mastered as the old one was too dark. And then some others.

i have one as well.

buy an m42 to F mount adapter and use that 58/2 on your d90!

I've read something about that adapter but it looks like it won't let me focus to infinity then. Thinking about that focus shift, will that adapter allow closer minimum focusing distance?

Anyway, how is the picture in terms of photographic value? It was a little experiment with white cards and remote flash. Had to use popup flash to trigger it though.

yes, if you get the expensive one...

i bought the cheap one and use it for wider macros as opposed to the 105mm macro.

Welly, you might be right. I've seen it on other monitors and it does indeed look darker than on my laptop. Time to calibrate my monitor
