So it's time for a new back, and I'm totally lost as to what one to get

Looks good but I'm not sure of the quality of it, and it's not dual strap.

It seems like the flipside 200 is almost as big as the dAPRO.

I'd suggest looking at the Flipside 400 AW. It's quite wide, deep and high and relatively affordable, while offering some pretty good features: padded waist belt, All-Weather cover,...

Too bad Lowepro doesn't have any 500 AW for us non-professionals :(.

i think the slingshot will be the one i'm getting it's plenty big Aw and easy to find and cheap.

I do not recommend Slingshots. These are very nice if you're carrying an entry-level DSLR with a relatively light lens, but put in a semi-professional model and higher-end lens and it gets heavy. You'd be putting all the weight on that poor shoulder...

A backpack is much, much better...

True but I don't plan on getting a semi-pro camera. Higher end lenses cost more then i want to pay too. And if i need too i'll upgrade.
