I've heard that there is a glut of E3's on the used market going for buttons.

If you can find a low mileage example you'll have a bargain.

The E5 is rumoured to be announced on 14th September and its spec sheet ranges from last year's tech to some pretty innovotive features. Just have to wait and see. I haven't heard about a new Olympus m4/3 though.

Btw, congrats on the wishlist! You must be special

E5 has been officially announced.

12MP
720p video recording
same body
3" screen
6fps supposedly
ISO6400
Art Filters
SD instead of xD

So nothing dramatic, but the E3 is a great camera as it was, these upgrades just enhance it.
To be honest, these upgrades could have happened sooner though. Theyve had the sensor since the Epl1. No reason why this face lift should have taken another year.

disapointed. seems more like the gimmicky e-30. should leaves those art filters and video out of it. this is suppose to be a professional camera.
