Very nice shots! I like how you managed the light.
I have the same opinion about the architectural tase.
My Egyptian is rusty but I think that the text is an exerpt from Nefertiti's cooking recipes :-)

Thanks Radu and lowliferider

All went well until my manfrotto tripod decided to become a bipod. One of the legs fell away from its top clamp, luckily while the camera wasn't attached!!! Superglue needed!

That cut things short, but looking at the exif data I should be able to shoot handheld there at ISO 800 - 1000 without any problems - I may revisit this evening.
