In the other shots the colors seem washed, I don't know why, I'm no expert

I don't think that cropping is a crime:-)
Sure, it's best to frame as good as possible at shooting stage, but if the shots benefit by removing distracting or not important elements, it should be done. That's the main benefit from your 18 Mp sensor, you can crop a lot. The owl would be much nicer, I think, with most of the rock cropped out.

Hi Kevin, I prefer the tighter shots where you can't see that it's a zoo. If you get close enough, it looks more natural. It's less distracting too

@ radu i did shot in raw and when i got them on the comp the temp was really low almost blue idk y i used the camera again and it fine now so i had to raise the temp in ppcould that have cause the washed cauz the pond came out great no low temp
