Haven't submitted an assignment in a long while, so here it is!
Colors of Alaska
Image

Camera Model: Canon 7D
Lens and focal length: 17-55mm f/2.8 @17mm
Aperture: f/9.0
Shutter Speed: 1/125
Sensitivity: ISO 250
Post processing: Lightroom 3 - contrast, white balance, clarity, tad bit of vibrance, and some sharpening

I went to Alaska last week, and kept this theme in mind. I was really lucky to have found this place. It was even better that it rained the previous day too.

This is a Crimson Rosella, found on the east coast of Australia.

Camera Model: Olympus E-510
Lens and focal length: Zuiko Digital 40-150 mm @150mm
Aperture: f/5.0
Shutter Speed: 1/40
Sensitivity: ISO 400
Post processing: Zip, nada, nothing, no contrast, no brightness, no levels, no crop. These are beautiful birds and I didn't think I needed to artificially enhance their colours for a colour assignment. :)

Nikon 28mm f/3.5 at f/3.5
Shutter between 1/15 and 1/4.

I took it earlier this month but did not want to post it just yet, in case I ran into more color.

Took this photo at the zoo today, there were stained glass windows looking into where the apes were, you couldn't see too well through them but got an ok pic.
