I use a programs called Ableton Live and Cubase SX to create my music. They both use VST (virtual studio technology) for creating sound. That could be anything from virtual Moog Synthesizer to SSL Eq units.

Ans yes i do also use midi to control and record my synths and drum machines and all of these are recorded to wav for mastering..

I love making music but cant really do it at night ( have to consider the neighbors ) so thats why im going to take up photography mainly shooting at night as i just love the stillness and eeriness that night photography can give.

I have a macbook Pro 2.4 Duo 17-inch 2gb ram 160gb hard drive. And i am running boot-camp. I purely use windows for games. Thats all that is installed on it. Running anything else on a windows I think is a waste of time. Aperture is such a great program and iLife is great I love garage band awesome for podcasts. I would like to see you make a podcast as easy as I can in a free program that comes with the operating system.

It is good to know pretty much any camera I can plug in and aperture will auto come up to import photo's, with out any drivers need installing. And I know you can do this on a windows computer but is it as easy?

But don't get me started, i'm a mac boy and will never change. Funny how users that change to a mac never change back but windows user are changing to mac everyday.

Have both windows (vists and XP) and a Macbook. Overall I prefer the mac OS X. It is smooth , fast, and logical. Plus you dont need 150 different programs to do common tasks.

I started with Iphoto8 which really isnt to bad for a packedged product. I now use Adobe LR 1.3. It is really quick on my macbook, and is a great product. I also love ,MAC and iweb. really quick and easy. Check out my .mac site. (in the siggy)

I built all my PCs Im a techie geek. So they are all top of the line when it comes to speed and reliability. Windows is simply high maintenance as compared to mac OS.
