Here's a quick portrait I took of the darling wife when we were out walking about. Click on it for a large version that you can pixel peep to your hearts content.

Image

ISO 200, F/2.8, 70mm, 1/400s. JPEG straight from the camera.

Bonjour pgtips,

Very nice shot :).

The 50-135mm is perfect for portraits.

Best regards,

Bonsoir,

My 50-135 lens failed so I sent it to repair.

It went back from repair and I proceeded to a test on a sunny sunday.

The SDM powered auto-focus is faster than ever!

Bonjour,

I'm still very happy with my Lowepro Rezo 190 AW camera bag: it carries all my gear safely.

But it isn't exactly the best when going out-door, especially with the DA* 60-250 f/4 SDM tele-zoom. So I went for the Lowepro Micro Trekker 200.

Check my  User Review on Camera Labs or the  full review with more pictures on my website.

Enjoy :)

Great review! Like a good newbie, I've been reading for several months (100's of reviews) and this is the focal length that's seems ideal for my new-to-me 50D and EF-S 17-55/2.8. Too bad Canon doesn't offer anything comparable...

Just a quick note about my website.

I closed all the accounts linked with Google, including webiste, mail, pictures, videos, ...

I've launched a new website about photography, available  here.

The content is currently being transferred to the new website.

See you there ;)

Hi rei_vilo,

I've steered away from Google as well (nothing like a dose of healthy paranoia) but your move is our loss as you've shared a good number of images with us over the years and there's no way that I can think of, short of manually editing all relevant posts here on the forum which is totally impractical, of converting the image links to your new site. As I say, it's our loss. :(

Good luck getting the new site up and running.

Bob.
