Hi Zyklusx, what i regard as colour popping is done in photoshop by converting the whole picture to black and white and then adding the colour back to a particular part of the photo, making this really stand out.
So if you had done it to the photo of your flowers only one of the flowers would have colour the rest would be b&w. :D
Shame your flowers were taken in May, but i am sure you will come up with something else . Good luck.

not whole lot just what i normally do boosted the color a little not a lot and i lowered the temperature i find i like pics looking cold. should i post that on the submission u think i didnt see the other guy so i thought i shouldn't??

CGphoto - that seems like colour popping to me? Maybe Sue or an admin could clarify this. There are some great photos up so far, seems like this month could be a tough one. Time to dust off my camera and get out there

that looks like color popping to me
