I'm nearly posted about this speculation, as expected Bjorn gets this news earlier than me LOL.

Anyway 24 f/2 looks very interesting & the price tag I would expect maybe as close as the Nikon 24 f/1.4. Bjorn assume that you are really tempting to get one of those how long you can wait until you get the money for it?

24 F/2...Zeiss is making one wonderful lens after another. I would preffer the 21mm F/2.8 instead (& it's hard to imagine something sharper than that) but that's coming from someone that finds F/2 not-so-useful at a wide angle lens. :)

Adi, if the pricetag is close to Nikon's f/1.4, I won't buy it. Don't expect it to be quite as high though. Then again, I have no idea what it will cost...
