I have The D90 with battery grip plus a D60 and 4 lenses in a lowepro slingshot 200, and it works fine. I stack my 50mm and 35mm. I usually have my 70-300mm attached and it all fits very well.

Lowepro Fastpack 200, D90 with grip fits just fine. It's the best layout of any backpack out there. None that I have seen have as good of access to the camera.

I can fit all of the gear in my signature plus some accessories including 2 battery chargers all in the Fastpack 200 without a problem.

For just casually walking around, I like the Lowepro TLZ series. I have a pack than comfortably takes my D90 + 16-85 and a fair bit more besides (spare battery, cards, small additional lens if needed, compact camera etc etc). It's a very good "one lens + minor accessories" solution and gives easy access.

I have just bought a Lowepro "Classified 160" and it fits the D90 + 16-85 and a D40 + 70-300 and many extras in a relatively compact package. Nice shoulder strap.

I also have a Lowepro "Slingshot 200", but I don't find the strap very comfortable, and it feels like the camera is likely to fall out when you open it (hasn't yet).

However, when I need to go any distance I use an old Tatanka backpack with a spring steel frame that keeps the actual bag off my back, and a form-fitting harness. It doesn't have a great deal of space, it has no compartments and the cameras are difficult to get out. But after a day of walking with up to 10kgs on board it still feels like I'm wearing nothing. If I'm going to use a camera regularly, I just keep it in my hand. For a day's working it's comfort first for me, and everything else second.

I daresay, my opinions might be a bit singular.

I recently acquired the CompuRover AW, only complaint; I don't get out the cam as fast as on my Nova 190, but its a very nice big bag that holds all my stuff plus a lot of accessories in the top compartment. (Sold my Computrekker Plus AW because too much space for photo equipment only and not enough easy access/space for normal carry on stuff)

Figured I'd update my post:

Switched to a Thinktank system, Speed demon with some pouches. The soft pouches are really great, they allow storing my teleconverter without any caps, which saves a LOT of time. Anyone without a TC cannot imagine the extreme fumble of adding it quickly to your cam+lens. You kind of need 5 hands to juggle the caps.

Pretty much my whole gear fits in the bag, which is basically the world's largest fanny pack with some added pouches

Hi new on the forum, I'm currently using the Lowepro mini trekker aw (ebay from Shangai $60.00 USD) and found it just the right size for my toys a bit tight to my recently added Sigma 70-200 2.8 and Sigma 18-50 2.8 but still fine to carry around (heavy).
PS. off course from the list down here i'm not carrying the slow 18-105 and the 55-200, just the fast stuff for work.
