Well I finally got my hands on my new toy this week, but haven't had much chance to have a play, so I thought I'd make a quick diversion on the way home.

OK - here are a few quick snaps from this evening. Bloody hot (46c), so I didn't venture too far from the car and I had to keep a 2 stop ND attached. Most shots are taken wide open to see how bad things get, apart from an F8 comparison shot of Jumeirah Beach Residence in Dubai. All straight out of camera, and converted from RAW to JPEG through Adobe Camera Raw and PSE.

And one from lunchtime to test bokeh - no ND filter on me at the time, so I had to stop down as 1/4000th is the fastest shutter speed on the D90.

Interesting!

It has been almost a year, and I still find these imaging to be beautiful. Unlike last year, when I was only interested in Canon-fit lenses, I am revisiting Zeiss lenses as a result of purchasing a Nikon F6.
