I have the Panasonic Z18 and have enjoyed it so far. Is the new Panasonic Z35 that far above what I have to make it worth upgrading to this newer camera?

With the FZ40 and FZ100 to be released within months you should be able to pick up a FZ35 at a discounted price too!

I still want to know is there a big enough difference between the FZ18 and FZ35 to make it worth upgrading to the FZ35?

I got a FZ18 and a FZ28, and I have to say the FZ18 feels better...
I dont know if the FZ38 makes better pictures than the FZ28, but Ill wait before youre buying a new Lumix.
The FZ18 is good, the FZ38 is only better.

... i had bouth, 18 and 38 (35)

in spite of diference of mp 8 and 12
pic are of the same quality you can
not find diference, perhaps more mp
means more space between pixels too.
i´d test that making moon pics.

fz38 is better making videos. features,
quality, hotkeys, format, etc...
