Interested to know what most of you set your E520 record mode to and why.Am still newish to this camera and have it set to LN,but would i get better quality picture having it set to LF,and is this setting best for general use,thanks.

I always put every camera to RAW, although sometimes I would set them as RAW+JPEG.
I never used TIFF on a E-500 and I believe this is the reason why E-520 doesn't have that option.

LF or LSF on the E-520 would give you the highest quality jpegs from the camera. Shooting raw would give you more potential to tweak the image but at the cost of using more space.

For "normal" usage LN should do just fine.
