Monteverde, in the province of Puntarenas, is a very famous tourism destination in the Costa Rican tropical forest. Contrary to other forests here in Costa Rica, this is a tropical cloud forest, not a rain forest. The main difference is the altitude: the cloud forest lies at 1500m a.s.l, and is characterized by the fact that it does not rain so strongly as in the tropical rain forest; it is mostly about mist and light and constant rain.
As my first time in Monteverde, a place from which I have heard a lot, I wanted to take great pictures of the cloud forest, and I hope you will admire this beautiful place and the great nature it possesses.
