Apparently Phottix is going to release a PW compatible radio transceiver for flashes and cameras. I've read Charles Verghese's review and they look pretty nice: they seem to have more range (or more reliability at very long distances) than Pocket wizards, they are cheaper and share many of the PW's features.

Any thoughts?

I can't find any outlets that sell this, in the UK. I'm also not able to find out how much it costs.

It hasn't been released yet. There is some info in the official website, and can be pre-ordered in the phottix store website. 100€ is pretty high for one transceiver only, but they are still cheaper than a PW Plus II
