Had been using the beta version for sometime now and was not overly impressed with the update to be honest but my beta came to an end and with my extensive library under lightroom i though i would upgrade.

Now im only an hour into the full version and i can say i am more impressed with this than the beta. Theres an introduction of lens profiles (Canon,Nikon,Sigma,Tamron) which when activated on the image recognise the lens used and will automatically add corrections (very similar to that of DXO optics). :D Also the noise reduction has been vastly improved, with amazing results (they have listen to their users)

I was seriously considering a migration to DXO and i think a lot of lightroom users had the same idea but i think adobe had caught wind of this and added these major improvements and extras. I highly recommend trying the 30day trial or purchase if you can...of course there is other means of getting copies

You naughy boy Orsan.

I've tried Lightroom 3, and, though I like it, Bibble also seems to do quite well. Then again I'm already used to LR's workflow. Bibble has noise ninja integrated though, and still beats adobe's vastly improved noise reduction.

DxO is fun, but not everything is supported. Workflow is...different though, more batch oriented.

Hi Orsan,

When you say noise reduction vastly improved are you comparing the release version of LR3 to the LR3 beta 3, or LR2?

Thanks.
