Went and got a Crumpler bag today.
First off, the customer service. freak amazing, such a nice bunch of people that work there. the eclectic nature of the company's ethos is carried over into the staff.
So i was looking to carry all my gear when i am travelling as well as a 14" laptop. the Karachi Outpost was a good option, it comes in small-medium-large. that carry 13"-15"-17" laptops respectively. and has tones of space for camera gear.
You access the bag from the back... so you fold the straps around the front.
The Zips are silky smooth and super heavy-duty (BIG)
The laptop is isolated to its own padded compartment, that is on the 'lid' of the bag.
There is a Mesh that locks in the camer stuff to it stays where it belongs.
This is a :
50D with Tokina 11-16mm f/2.8 attached.
Tamron 17-50 f2.8
EF 50mm f/1.4
430EX II w/wireless system
Gorilla pod
plus filters and batteries for everything.
It is deceptively big, i could probably fit 2 more primes lenses and maybe a 70-200 f4 in the bottom compartment.
Here is a Link to Gordon's review of the 'Keystone', i model that i believe is being replaced with the Karachi Outpost.
Any Questions?
