Maybe the tamest Snowshoe Hare I have seen. These were taken on Track and Tower trail in Algonquin park.

Almost tripped over this little guy today... don't know which one of us jumped the highest!!! It's the first time I have ever managed a pic of one with its winter coat... easy to see why... they are almost impossible to see unless they move. Of course he was in the shadows with the sun directly behind him so easier to see but harder to shoot.

Snowshoe hare with a bit of a tick itch.

Harder to see in the resized photos but this one was also loaded with smaller Ticks.
