i just added some distorted pictures to another lens-thread. and might add here too, this lens shows quite a lot of barrel distortion at 18mm which turns into pincushion distortion very quickly when zoomed in.

i think this is important information and i dont see anybody mentioning it.
i dont have samples right now, but can post some if needed.

I wouldnt be too bothered with the distortions a kitlens! Or would you rather have kitlenses to start at 1000+ dollar (for DX)? ;-)
