Don't say it...

I've already visited Hoya's homepage and checked out their information on the different coatings they use.

I know the difference between their standard, HMC, Super HMC and Ultra series. The Pro-1 Digital Series is what got me puzzled. It seems to be a multicoated filter line which has been specifically designed for digital cameras.

I'm looking for a circular polarizer. Does anyone use a Pro-1-Digital model and/or has compared it to one of Hoya's "traditional" filter lines?

What are the advantages - if any - to using a Pro-1-Digital model in comparison to the traditional ones?

Here is a handy page showing the different types of Hoya filter series. Also check out here for a group test of lots of filters including several Hoya ones.

I don't know if the polarising effect is better or worse than others, but the anti-reflection coating is one of the better ones.
