Been out all day taking pictures, this was my first time shooting on and around the track as i now have public liability insurence!!

Is it common to take loads of pictures and then when you get home find only half are any good??

Yep. That is normal! ;) I often come home with about 200-500 shots after a day of shooting, and i only like 100-250 :o


My favorite is defiantly the #4 shot!
#4 Very nice job on the panning technique, good composition great colors, and you have really captured the action!

Thanks man, Im really not getting on with the kit lens. Finding i need the extra zoom that a 200mm would give.

For sports I have around a 1/15 keeper rate (I shoot at 8 FPS), so that gives you an idea ;)

If your hitting a half "keeper" rate, thats more impressive than what I get!
