this was my first moto x with new D80 trying to get used to it, as i'm a complete Novice to a real DSLR, used to have a Fuji finpix so big step up.

Photoshop for black & white and history brush to make rider stand out.

Interesting concept with the selective color. Nice shot, try to position yourself in a spot where they have to accelerate or jump to show a bit more action if the track allows. I have never seen a track roped off like that here, the fence post seem dangerous. Post some more.

I think your composition is pretty darn cool, but I can't say the same about the selective color. I generally find it to be a bit "gimmicky". But, if you like it, I'm not holding you back :)

thanks for the comments , they rope that section like that to slow them down, so the lap keepers can see the numbers of the riders and keep track of the laps :D

Its a great photo, and im also a big fan of "popping colour" is it called?

But I personally dont think they mix well in this instance.

Could you post the original?

Cool photo, very good timming, but I for one hate color swaping. It's much more efficient to work with contrast, brightness & vignetting in the b&w conversion, for shots like this. :)
