Great shot Al, where did you put the camera and how do you keep it in place so it does not move?

Thanks FazerUK,

I set up the tripod in the back of the car so two legs were extended into the foot well, so they were firmly on the floor behind my front seats. Then I lifted the third leg (i have the ability on my tripod to lift the leg higher than the other two), and extended that so it was pressing on the back of the back seats, pushing the front legs into the back of the front seats.

I hope this makes sense!

Then I drove down the smoothest, straight road with dim orange street lighting I could find. I only went up to 25mph to keep the car as smooth as possible and I went down a straight road so I could keep my arms still.

Hope this helps.

Thanks for your comment.

Hi everyone, great images!

As lensbaby says though, please make sure the images are no bigger than 500 pixels on their longest side. There's a few on there which are too big.

Thanks!

Great bunch of photos!!

Nice mix of technique and happy accidents(like mine).

Goes with my mantra that no matter how well you set a shot up,..you will
still find something in the frame afterwards that was unexpected!...good or bad...lol.

Cheers!

Thank you very much, I have to admit, I made a card full of shots to get one I thought was acceptable.

Gordon you have rocked the casbah with your submission.

Thanks! What can I say, a nice lady sat on the wing of a plane flew just in front of me while I had the camera to my eye! I think me and about 1000 others got exactly the same shot!

Hi sonnyboy, nice photo, but please reduce the size to 500 pixels wide to comply with our submission rules! The same goes to any other images which are bigger than 500 pixels!
