Nice one Jambia, welcome to the forum.

Can I ask what continent it was taken on?

Sorry if this is a stupid question.

What does this mean? If I upload a picture to flickr it will be the original version, except me making it a sensible size of course.

Any help or advice gratefully received.

Hi AL,
Have a read of this,
http://www.cameralabs.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=3315

If you get stuck just ask again.
As a guide I use option 3 of Thomas's post, but a lot of members don't bother. :)

I really like Jambia's picture of the sea with a 13s exposure, really excellent effect.

hi GCJ and AL,

Thank you for your comment, I am glad that you guys liked it :D. I took several pictures that day, but the later the picture was taken, the brighter the picture becomes and the less orange effect took place.

Well, it was taken during my visit to Malaysia, Asia.

Plymer it is, not too difficult. Good picture that matches the theme just perfectly!

Great shots this month, I gave my vote to popo as it looks eerie and mystical, I like the way the sun is subdued on the horizon and is not the focus of the shot. I scored 0.1 for getting up early and 9.9 for the shot.

Cheers

Nice 'early morning' picture which sort of breaks the rules and disadvantages you at the same time. The grey background you've put behind the photo takes it to an overall size of 640 x 480 pixels ... which breaks the 500 pixel max limit. Look at what the opposition have submitted ... you'll find they all scale their images to be 500 on the longest edge to make the best of the picture within the rules.

I thought my offering looked a bit crummy shown so small so included a link to a larger one.
Don't cramp your style by submitting anything smaller than you have to!

thanks for the tips mike, will sure try to fit it better...

the reason why the grey background is because I'm trying to find a way to put watermark on my photo on LR. which it only happen on slideshow...

but I just DL the LR3 beta...it great that they added it.

Just had a look at the voting... wow, I don't think it's been that close before. Currently the top three are within a vote of each other. This one might go down to the end...
