hi Gordon,
when you do the review from the HX5v please do not forget when you take your high ISO shots to take at least one with HHT and AMB to compare with the normal high ISO.
I have no idea why all reviewers forget this feature in their HX1 and other Sony cmos sensor cameras. It is where they have the edge and really shine.

(yes, I saw the comparison shots in your newest Panasonic review)

oh, any chance you can get a SAMSUNG WB2000 / TL350?
for all people who missed all the manual settings in the HX5 they find them there, after digging around a bit I think the Sasmsung can be a real alternative to the Sony ( I even made a little blog to compare them)

Hi Joe, I'm afraid I've already completed the testing - and now the review. I do have some sample shots with the other modes, but not against the other High ISO ones. If I get the camera back for retesting, I'll look into it.
