Hello all

Check out my first shots with my Canon Rebel Xti (400d) at Flikr
I don't know how to link you right to the page but here is my member name "d.nicholas43" I only posted 12 shots but they were the best of the 200 I took!! Tell me what you think. all comments welcome

Thanks all

Nick

EDIT: The following links were added by Bob Andersson as examples of how to display images etc.

Nick, you might like to add My Flickr to your Signature (you need to edit your user Profile to do this).

Here's one of your photos with a link to the underlying group. Note that I've selected the 500 pixel wide one from this page as 1024 pixels exceeds the forum guidelines.

Image

Nick, if you have clicked the Edit button you will see that the address I used following "url=" is just the address of the page http://www.flickr.com/photos/22313155@N06/2148414062/ plucked from the browser's address bar. That allows members to click your photo and so see the other sizes etc.

The address within the [img]..[/img] tags is a little more complicated to get. If you right click on the 500 pixel wide image from within your Flickr account and select Properties you can grab the location (or in Firefox just right-click the image and select "Copy Image Location..").

Hope this helps and I hope you don't mind me adding this to your post. 8)

Hi Nick,

As you can see, I've added some links to your last post. I've done it that way, rather than use the links in this post, so you can click the Edit button in your post and see how I've done it. You can then use your post as a template when you want to share more photos.

Bob.

Hi Nick,

Glad you didn't mind. In your last post you used

Image

Unfortunately, as you saw, that won't work. What you need to do is to click the All Sizes button to this page, click the Medium button and then grab the address of the image from that page.

Bob.

.
Love the way the eagle is giving the camera a beady stare with its left eye. I share your pain about the framing - in my limited experience framing the shots accurately is 90% of the trick as far as BIF are concerned.

Bob.
