Type I and Type II refer to physical size (thickness). I'm also pretty sure it'll support any capacity.
If cost is not a major hurdle, the new Sandisk Extreme is the one I'd pick. It's faster than Extreme IV, while similar in cost to Extreme III. Having said that, it doesn't seem to be available in lower capacities. I do agree with Cirtuspers that it is unlikely your camera will make use of the full speed, but if you have a suitable card reader it will transfer to computer faster, plus gives you a degree of future potential should you upgrade bodies.
On the value end, it does look like the Ultra II has now been replaced by the Ultra (30MB/s). Sandisk don't make their names easy do they? I think that's the same speed rating as the Extreme III which again should be fast enough not to limit the camera.
