Hi Bob, welcome on-board!

Are youreferring to our blurring water tutorial? It's best to post any messages about that in the dslrtips section - this section is for our montly assignment!

Please do consider entering an image into our latest 'extreme' theme for July though...

Ok and know it's linked back. Thanks for this thread

I have a question

How do you get the Flickr logo in your signature? And how do you get it to link to your own Flickr?
Thanks

If you want your photo to be displayed in your post with a link to the original, replace the descriptive text by the address for your thumbnail like this:

Hi there. I have tried 3 times to upload a photo and have failed. I cant seem to find the different link to web or link to thumbnails for [url=link2web][img]link2thumbnail[/img][/url]. Are these the only two things I have to alter and leave all the [/img] [url= as they are?

Where abouts on flickr do I find these things? I have only uploaded one photo to flickr as a trial to see how it works. This is what I assume to be the link to web http://www.flickr.com/photos/45877262@N08/4241255635/

and what I assume to be the link to thumbnail http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2505/424 ... 36d9_b.jpg

It would be awesome if someone could help me here. Thanks

Justin

Here is the Flickr page explaining how to obtain the URL of your photos. You could bookmark it for easy reference.

http://www.flickr.com/help/photos/#68

Then enclose that URL with image tags and the photo will show up in the thread..

[img]URL%20of%20your%20photo%20without%20leading%20or%20trailing%20spaces%20and%20ending%20in.jpg[/img]

Then check with the [Preview] button and if everything is OK post with the [Submit] button.

Your photo will look like this.

Success.

Ben
